 1. What did you actually learned from the unit.

I learned about collective bargaining and got a small glimpse of what it would be like to be part of a union.

2. Discuss your feelings/experiences from the team activities? Did it change your opinion on the subject? If so, how? If not, why?

I liked reading/learning about my team members collective bargaining assignments and the differences they entailed.

3. How you will utilize the information learned in your nursing practice.

From the movie assignment, I am going to continue to work on my communication skills. I believe that communication is huge in all aspects of life.

I don't think it will affect it, I am pretty easy going and still an important and necessary part of a team in order for the team to function well.       d. What will you do with the knowledge this test gives you? Not a whole lot, I found it interesting and pretty closely correct but I don't think I will do much with it, it is what it is and I am who I am.

(Kate) Verbal waring, a performance review, a written warning and then a termination. What are some examples of situations that have warranted disciplining an employee? (Kate) Consistently being late for work, leaving the jobsite before they were supposed to. Stealing supplies/equipment. What are some examples of reasons why you most commonly fire people? (Megan)  Pretty much the same as I just said, haha. And also lack of performance is a big one. How many chances do you give your employees to fix behaviors before terminating them? (Megan)  Well because this is a privately owned business, I can be a little more lenient which is nice because it sucks to fire people. I don’t have a set number of chances; it is usually a case by case type of a situat...
